Digestive Problems in Dogs & Cats

Tree Barks Powder was developed for acute intestinal absorptive disorders and having highly digestible ingredients and a low level of fat it can be given during periods of, and recovery from, acute diarrhoea as it will help the system get back to normal. Diarrhoea is nature’s way of cleansing the body and unless it is persistent, with vomiting or causing undue distress it should be allowed to run its course if possible. Fast for 24 hours and afterwards gradually introduce small quantities of plain food.

It is important, however, to consult your veterinary surgery if diarrhoea persists for more than a few days.

Tree Barks Powder also helps to soothe the intestinal tract whilst slowing the passage of food to ensure maximum nutrients are absorbed while also firming the motions, so is very useful in other acute intestinal disorders such as pancreatic insufficiency.
