    Tip: Consider starting firework desensitisation programme for your dog’s anxiety. Gently introduce the sound of fireworks to your pet in the hope of helping them realise that they have nothing to fear.

  • 10 days to go

    Tip:Create a safe, snug area for your pet to retreat to if they feel anxious. This will help them if they feel things are getting a bit too much to handle. A pet crate covered with a heavy blanket helps block some of the noise.

  • One-day to go

    Tip:Make sure that your pet’s microchip details are up to date and they are wearing a collar with an ID tag, so that if they escape, they can be quickly and safely returned to you.

  • The big day

    Tip:TVs and radios can help provide some background noise. Try to act normal as your pet looks to you for cues as to whether they need to be worried. Stay with your pet to reassure them with your presence.

Always excellent service from Dorwest

I use Dorwest for my rescue dog. She is from Bulgaria and is doing well but has had some anxiety issues and a minor skin condition. Dorwest products really work! I can recommend the Garlic and Fenugreek Tablets for skin and immune support and Scullcap and Valerian Tablets to help with anxiety. I have used the Tree Barks Powder for a number of years and wouldn't be without it as it works so quickly on an upset stomach - I recommended it to my brother who now uses it for his cats. The customer service at Dorwest is good and queries are answered and resolved quickly.
