We recently received a lovely customer story from Louise from Fife in Scotland, about her 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Beau, who suffers with Pododermatitis. Read how Dorwest’s Green Releaf® and Garlic & Fenugreek have helped below.
4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Beau was diagnosed with Pododermatitis, an inflammation of the skin in the paws. This causes hair follicles to push back into the paws causing false pads and large cysts to appear. These can be painful and can eventually burst which may lead to scar tissues that can be itchy and often sore. This can then also lead to excessive licking of the affected area, which can become a vicious cycle.
Beau’s owner Louise searched high and low for the perfect support. She used numerous creams, washes, and medication – but none really did anything special. After a rather stubborn flare up which led to Beau having uncomfortable paws, Louise was a bit lost on what to do next.
Ruling out food allergies and any orthopaedic issues, Louise opted for a skin graft which later confirmed numerous environmental allergies. This meant support was going to be a real challenge with so many triggers nearly impossible to avoid, such as: grass, weed pollen, house dust and storage mites.
After seeing success stories surrounding Dorwest’s Green Releaf® and Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets, Louise decided to reach out to the Dorwest customer service team. Within a couple of days of using the supplements, Beau’s excessive licking was massively reduced, followed by the heat and redness beginning to disappear. Finally, all cysts started to shrink.
Beau is currently just over a month of taking two tablets daily and the results speak for themselves:
“We cannot recommend Dorwest enough as with each product we use comes a very happy success story. We will forever kick ourselves that we didn't try these two supplements sooner! We've finally got our adventure-loving pup back!” – Louise, Beau’s mum.
