Well this year’s Manchester Dog Show was particularly poignant for Dorwest, as always the show was busy and had an excellent atmosphere! But beforehand at Dorwest HQ we had been busy planning something a ‘little bit special’ along with friends and other traders at the show. And that ‘little bit special’ was a leaving party for our two dearly loved and popular trade stand managers Brian & Carmel Cleveley who are retiring. Manchester was to be their last Championship show and we wanted to say a big thank you to them for their superb service and commitment running the Dorwest Trade Stand for the last 20 years.
The night arrived and Jo Boughton White and Tony Boughton along with many other friends and work colleges surprised Brian and Carmel. The send-off was emotional and a huge landmark in the Dorwest story. With wine, nibbles, and good company is was a great event and topped off with a fantastic cake which we had commissions especially for the event which was a Dorwest Trade Stand complete with Brian & Carmel , Bedlington terriers and even little Dorwest pots of tablets.
