What a whirlwind few weeks with the build-up to the biggest show in the canine calender...Crufts! It was the 41st year of the Dorwest tradestand at the show and it was bigger and busier than ever and there was such a great buzz round the whole show.
Crufts was a little different for us this year as the night before the opening of the show was the much anticipated awards night 'The Pawscars' to celebrate British Dogdom. We were delighted to sponsor the 'Exhibitor of the Year' category and attend the wonderful awards night at the Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC. We would like to congratulate the nominees Jane Wilton-Clark and Andrew Morris and the winner John Averis on this accomplishment. However it was also particularly special as we found out that Dorwest had also been nominated at 'Tradestand of the Year'. As one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) tradestands on the show circuit we were thrilled to then find out we had actually WON the award! Managing Director Jo Boughton-White and Tradestand Managers Brian & Carmel Cleveley were honoured to collect the award.
We saw so many of our wonderful customers old and new and we hope you all enjoyed our special gifts to you all - I am sure the Dorwest Dinner Spoons will come in handy!
We are all looking forward to Crufts 2015 already!
